At Tutu Chocolates, we take allergies and dietary needs seriously and always aim to provide clear, transparent information to help you make informed choices.

Our chocolates are handmade in an environment that handles:

NUTS, PEANUTS, GLUTEN, DAIRY, SOYA, SESAME, and SULPHITES.

Truffle Ingredients:

 

Our Classic Truffle Range may contain the following ingredients:

Milk, dark and white chocolate (cocoa solids, cocoa butter, SOYA lecithin, whole MILK powder, natural vanilla), sugar, salt, ALCOHOL / SULPHITES, fresh fruit (raspberries, mango, passion fruit, lime, lemon, banana, blackcurrant, apricot, cherry, orange), spices (ginger, cardamom, fennel pollen, cayenne pepper, liquorice, rosemary), CREAM, BUTTER, vegetable fat, honey, coffee, green tea, coconut, balsamic vinegar, rose petals, tartaric acid, gum arabic, yellow pectin, spirulina powder, and natural colourings (E100, E171).

All of our chocolates are handmade in small batches using ethically sourced ingredients, including fresh CREAM from Lacey’s Farm and premium couverture chocolate from Cocoa Horizons.

Handling & Storage of Allergens

NUTS & PEANUTS

​

• Nut-based products are made and packaged in our shop kitchen.

• Chocolate is separated and melted in clean bowls with designated utensils.

• No leftover chocolate is reused in other truffles.

• We reuse Gluten & Nut contaminated chocolate in our Brownies that have gluten & Nuts added inside. 

• All surfaces, tools, and gloves are thoroughly cleaned and sanitised between batches.

GLUTEN

​

• Raw gluten-containing ingredients such as flour are stored and baked at a different location.

• Gluten-containing items are dipped and packaged in the shop using freshly cleaned, dedicated tools.

• All surfaces and utensils are thoroughly cleaned before and after handling, and packaging gloves are discarded immediately.

STORAGE

• Nuts are stored at our shop.

• Peanuts, sesame, and raw gluten ingredients (e.g., flour) are stored off-site.

Your Safety Matters

​

We do not include nut- or gluten-containing chocolates in mixed truffle boxes unless specifically requested. Truffles containing these allergens are stored and handled separately.
